The dates are very interesting as chuck Wagons were not in use at that time. |

Hello Friend,
I just wanted to reply to comment about chuck wagons not in use durning the period of 1829-1839. Partner chuck wagon are in use today. In fact, someone else was looking to hire a chuck wagon. The legend live on. Oz(chuck wagon cook)

The first chuckwagon went down to trail in 1875 or 1876, drove by Charles Goodnight. It was made from a military wagon ( studabaker) . Lots of wagons were and have been made into chuckwagons since then. But that wagon is the first wagon ever wrote down in history that was a chuckwagon. And our world bases all things of history. |
