We have a beautifully restored old wagon that has been converted into a covered chuck wagon for sale. The wheels, tongue, most of the metal and much of the wood underneath is original. The box has been expertly replaced and fitted with a chuckwagon back and a canvas cover. For those of you who this might mean something to, (I don't include myself in that learned group, by the way) there are two stamped pieces of metal that we could find. One piece near a wheel is stamped "3 1/4 x 10 WILLIAMS" and the other against the box is stamped "W H Barter Gordon Pat. Feb 27 Apr 17-00". If anyone is possibly interested in this wagon please respond and I will provide photos and any information that I can. The wagon is located about 20 miles east of Cleveland, Ohio. |
