2 chuck wagons

I have two original wagons in orginal paint. They both have original tongues,single tree, double tree, wheel wrench, seats and harness sets including reins. I have a chuck box, and a lot of good cooking stuff that will sell seperately. The wagons are Peter Schuttler & Studebaker. They are 2 boards high in the bed. The wheels are great shape. They are not the butcher knife wheels. I can send pics if interested. I will sell each wagon for 2500.00. The first one to want one will get the chuck box also included in sale. High wheeled "butcherknife" wagon that would make an excellent starter chuckwagon.

This wagon is in working condition, "about as big as they get and has a nice rustic character about it." Wagon still has reminants of original pin stripe and lettering saying Albert Stratman Hillsboro KS. Believe that is the dealership it was sold by. The wheels are very solid with character that developes with age, no sign of bolts or clips on wheels, which means they are well seasoned built wheels. Felloes are made of solid "bois-d-arc" wood. Wheel diameters are approx. 55"in. back and 44"in. front. by 2in. tyres. That makes this quite a rare piece. Box is approx. 28"in. tall overall by 10'ft. 6"in. long by 38"in. wide.

Wagon has one of the best working brake systems I have ever had on a wagon. Wheels boxings and skeins have recently been cleaned and packed with new grease.

Wagon includes: complete brake system!!, new hickory steam bent bows, original
doubletree and singletrees, wagon hammer-"wheel wrench,"original tongue "solid", antique spring seat, etc.
I can make new chuckboxes available similar to the one in the pictures. Chuckboxes can be custom made in any type of wood or style.
This wagon would be excellent for chuckwagon competitions, trail drives,
decoration, outdoor activities, etc.

Steel Barrel "length is 56"in., Bore 2 3/8"in., Diameters as follows
"back 7.5"in., trunion 6"in., front muzzle 5"in." Wheel diameter is 40"in. with a 4.5"in. tyre. These wheels are authentic sovern wheels and are very heavy duty! The track on the carriage is 5'ft. 4"in. with an approx 6'ft. 2"in. square arched axle with a 10"in. boxing.

Springfield Full size Red Wheel Chuck Wagon

Built by the Springfield Company, Springfield Missouri in the late 1800s or early 1900s It is 10 feet, 6 inches long, 42-1/2 inches wide, and about 10 feet tall. Back wheels are 55-inch knife blades. It has a well-used chuck box with an ole tin covered tabletop and the same metal on the top of the large chuck box. It has a unique Army trouble box (original with the Army markings still visible on it.) It looks like the one on the front of the wagon in Dances With Wolves This wagon has won two awards from the State of Oklahoma for the most historically correct wagon in the state. It comes with canvas, fly, wagon bows, 30 gallon water barrel, cast iron cooking gear, side mounted antique coffee grinder and gear. Comes with doubletree hitch its in need of repair. Spartonsburg Stagecoach

This Spartonsburg Stagecoach was built in Spartonburg PA by a German craftsman in the early 1900s. Its dimensions are 10 long & 5 wide not including the tongue. It comes with two tongues, a single, & a double tree hitch. It will seat 4 on the inside, 2 on the front seat and when you uncover the boot it will seat 2 more folks there. Rubber tired and road ready with brakes. Red velvet seats inside with leather roll down window covers. It has Wells Fargo & Co. Overland Stage in gold letters across the top of stage box. Looks great in parades and makes a great photo op for customers & family. This coach has not been rebuilt or renovated it is in absolutely original condition except for adding two battery powered outside coach lights. Comes with horn & whip. Show ready.

Bain Full size Yellow Wheel Chuck Wagon

I have been told, that the wagon was built by the Bain Wagon Company in Kenosha Wisconsin in the early 1900's. It is 10 feet 6 inches long, 42 1/2 inches wide and about 10 feet tall. Back wheels are 49 inch knife blade. It has a beautiful and well used chuck box. There is a little board rot in the floor of the wagon, this can be easily fixed. It comes with canvas, fly, wagon bows, a 30 gallon water barrel, cast iron cooking gear, side mounted antique coffee grinder and double tree hitch. Price $ 3,500.00. Original Concord Stagecoach - beautifully restored

We have sold most of our ranch and are semi---retiring and have decided to sell our big, beautiful concord stagecoach.
It was used in the Silver Dollar City stagecoach line, Branson, MO in the 70's (we have a picture) it was then restored by Mr. Stone (Arkansas) we bought it from his son a few years ago and have used it for special occasions at the ranch.

Covered Chuck Wagon For Sale

Hello All,

We have a beautifully restored old wagon that has been converted into a covered chuck wagon for sale. The wheels, tongue, most of the metal and much of the wood underneath is original. The box has been expertly replaced and fitted with a chuckwagon back and a canvas cover. For those of you who this might mean something to, (I don't include myself in that learned group, by the way) there are two stamped pieces of metal that we could find. One piece near a wheel is stamped "3 1/4 x 10 WILLIAMS" and the other against the box is stamped "W H Barter Gordon Pat. Feb 27 Apr 17-00". If anyone is possibly interested in this wagon please respond and I will provide photos and any information that I can. The wagon is located about 20 miles east of Cleveland, Ohio.
